'DezMix Muzik' holds the distinction of having
the largest selection of mixes on the Internet & one of the first sites
to stream live mixes via a bi-weekly RealAudio webcast on Wednesday nights
at 8PM (Eastern Standard Time) from the recording studio at DezMix
Muzik and various clubs throughout the USA and Europe.
DezMix Muzik was founded in 1995 and as a result have managed
to develop a large client base & vast Internet presence online. Please

DJ DezMix
A native New Yorker,
has been spinning muzik for over a decade. He has played professionally
at various clubs in New York City (Limelight-NYC, Palladium, Sound Factory
Bar, Tunnel, Warsaw, City, Carbon) and he recently did gigs twice in
Vibe-Estonia (Europe) and twice in Scotland, UK. DezMix is a progressive
programmer and is dedicated to breaking new records & to distribute
his mixes to those who appreciate New York City underground house muzik
and who expect the best in deejaying. He also has an extensive library
of records which are his tools for his creation of mixed CDs, MiniDiscs
& tapes to fill anyone's void.
What do you
get when you order?
The mixes caters
to those who prefer Underground House muzik and pure pinpoint blends.
All recordings are digitally injected into a CD master for 44.1 khz
quality and than transferred over to either 80 minute mix CDs, 74 or 80 minute
MiniDiscs or 90 minute high biasl tapes using Dolby C noise reduction. He
can also digitally transfer your
own audio cassette master or MinDisc to Compact Disc (CD). What you
get in a mix CD or tape are bright colors, sharp text, intense graphics
and, of course, smooth mixes. You can judge for yourself, here are his

as well as this web site were created, maintained and arranged by DJ

"The site kicks
in with a repeated drum loop accompanying a rather prophetic sounding
tale of "Jack" and House music. This rather slick start sets
the general quality of the site which focuses around the New York House
scene, well more specifically of a certain "DJ DezMix". He
seems to have a lot of background behind him, a lot of releases and
a pretty good site with a lot of samples to listen to, but what about
the music I hear you bellowing, well after I'd finally downloaded Realplayer
and decided which tracks to listen to from the mountains on the site,
here's what I heard...Well I'm a little impatient and like things to
kick in straight away, but with mixes that sometimes last longer than
an hour that may not always happen. The best place to listen to music
like House is in clubs (hey that's the point isn't it?), when your all
packed in together soaking up the ambience of the music it's length
doesn't seem to matter as much. Anyways to me (and I'm not expert with
this style) it sounded good enough and when it did kick in certainly
held my interest. There's a very solid beat, and as a whole the mixes
are sparse, usually just beat, samples and "something else".
I must say that I've never been a great fan of Dance music and all it's
family but if this is the sort of stuff that's out there then as of
