8 DJs from the New York area competed at IVY for a Grand Prize of a $500 gift certificate to Decadance Records on April 1, 1999. The party was hosted by Jill & Dmitry of ClubNYC. The DJs were:

  • Tim Dawg
  • Rob Mush
  • Shakes & PJL
  • Pride
  • Ziggy Roman
  • Marki King
  • DezMix
  • Hal

Each DJ had 45 minutes to mix their set and wow the crowd. All the DJs played great & had the trendy 600+ crowd happy.

The judges were DJ/Producers, Denny Tsettos, Boris & Mike Ski. Mike Ski was also present for the release of his new track 'D-Fly' and DJ Azo opened up the festivities. ClubNYCers came to hear the latest & freshest sounds of Underground House. Trend TV was also present. They were filming for an upcoming segment on ClubNYC.

 
The winner of the DJ contest was Pride. Congratulations! I came in 2nd place.
